Omnifone selected for Government's Future Fifty

Omnifone has been selected as one of the UK’s most innovative and market transforming companies by the UK government’s Future Fifty programme.

Launched by Chancellor George Osborne and Tech City CEO Joanna Shields, the Future Fifty fast-track programme handpicks the most promising and innovative companies that are likely to

generate significant economic benefits for the UK. Future Fifty companies are provided with government and private sector support to accelerate growth, create jobs and reach their full potential.

Following a rigorous selection process conducted by a panel of industry experts, investors, advisors and successful entrepreneurs, Omnifone has been welcomed onto the year-long programme.

Omnifone First in Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA 2012

Omnifone has been awarded first place
in the media and entertainment category
of the prestigious Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA in recognition of its most successful financial year to date after turning a profit of £3.8 million (EBITDA). Omnifone ranked 36th in the overall league table, one of just six UK companies in the top 40.

Jeff Hughes, Omnifone’s CEO, credits the recent growth to the roll out of global subscription-based streaming services on behalf of customers, driven by the consumer demand to access digital music anywhere, anytime. He said “We are thrilled to be recognised once again for the phenomenal growth we’ve experienced over the past few years."

Omnifone Debuts at Number 20 in The Sunday Times 2012 Tech Track 100

Omnifone has been ranked 20th in
The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 league table in recognition for the continuous growth achieved over the past three years. Omnifone achieved 118 percent sales growth per annum, while the average growth rate of all other companies on the league table was 81 percent.

Published by the Sunday Times, Tech Track 100 is an annual compilation of the fastest growing private tech companies in the UK, based on the last three years’ sales figures.

Omnifone Ranks 4th in Deloitte 2012 Technology Fast 50

Omnifone was ranked number four in
the Deloitte 2012 Technology Fast 50
in recognition for the tremendous growth
it experienced over the past five years. Omnifone grew 2857 percent during
this period.

The prestigious Deloitte Technology Fast 50 annual awards programme lists Britain’s fifty fastest growing companies based on revenue growth over the past five years.
